The Albanian spectacularly escapes from prison in Italy, local media: Action worthy of a movie script

An Albanian prisoner convicted of drug trafficking in Italy has managed to escape. The Italian authorities are looking for the 40-year-old, as he is suspected to be in the city of Abruzzo.

Italian media reports that the 40-year-old was helped by an external drone. 

"It is suspected that the prisoner escaped thanks to the help of an external drone, which provided him with the necessary means to leave Teramo prison. The incident happened in the early hours of this morning. At the moment, the recordings of all cameras of IEVP Teramo are being examined to understand the exact dynamics of the escape carried out by the Albanian prisoner" , the police statement says.

The event has caused reactions in Italy, where many of them, including the media, have described the event as 'an action worthy of an American film'.
