A giant banner with a threatening message against the leaders of Israel and the United States has been placed in Palestine Square in Tehran, intensifying Iran's rhetoric following recent developments in the region.
The banner, which according to media reports appears to have been created or processed with the help of artificial intelligence, depicts Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu lying in coffins.
Melania Trump, the daughter of US President Ivanka Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner also appear in the same way.
A message in Persian and Hebrew is placed above the images: " Blood for blood, an eye for an eye ."
The banner is considered part of the Iranian authorities' ongoing campaign of threats following the assassination of several Islamic Revolutionary Guard commanders and the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
So far, the threats have been directed mainly at US President Donald Trump. One of the strongest statements came from Mojtaba Khamenei, who after his father's funeral ceremony declared: " We swear that we will avenge your blood and the blood of all those who were killed in both wars. This is the will of our people and it must be realized in the near future ."
Palestine Square in Tehran has been used for years by Iranian authorities as one of the main centers of propaganda against Israel.
In the past, banners in Hebrew have been placed there with messages such as "You will regret it," "Shelter," "Provide food and supplies," while after the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, another banner appeared with the inscription "Expect a severe punishment."
In May 2025, a banner in Persian and Hebrew was placed in the same square with the message: "Israel will not see the next 15 years."
