How the Middle East is turning into a "pressure cooker"!
American attack on the Syria-Iran border

The Middle East has already turned into a "pressure cooker" that is expected to explode at any moment...

The war in Gaza has caused an increase in attacks by Iran-backed groups in the region in support of the Palestinians.

Recently, an American military base in Jordan called "Tower 22" was attacked by a drone where 3 American soldiers lost their lives and 39 others were injured.

The US military launched a wave of bloody airstrikes against Iranian forces and Tehran-backed fighters in Iraq and Syria on Friday in retaliation for the strike in Jordan. So far, 18 deaths have been reported, while Syrian authorities warn that this number may increase.

US forces in the Middle East and their allies have faced increased attacks since the start of the war in Gaza, coming under attack more than 165 times since mid-October.

"Friday's airstrikes were directed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force and affiliated militia groups and struck more than 85 targets ," US Central Command said in a statement.

Also on Friday, the Israeli military said its defense system successfully intercepted a missile that approached Israeli territory in the Red Sea area. After that, Yemen's Houthi rebels responded by announcing that they had fired rockets at Israel.

The Middle East has already turned into a bloody battlefield after the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel, where 1,200 people were killed. After that, Israel launched a counterattack against the Palestinian militant group in Gaza, where more than 26,000 people have died, half of the victims being women and children.

Until now, many talks about a ceasefire and peace in the Middle East were taking place, but the US counterattack on Friday already turned the country into a "pressure cooker". After the attack, many countries reacted by threatening the US and calling on it to withdraw from the Middle East.

Iraq's prime minister reacted immediately and called the US airstrikes a violation of national sovereignty. He expressed his concern about the potentially "catastrophic" consequences for the security and stability of Iraq and the region.

General Yahya Rasool, a spokesman for the Iraqi prime minister, confirmed that airstrikes were carried out by the US against positions in the Al Qaim sector - on the border with Syria - and other Iraqi border areas.

"The attacks pose a 'threat' to lead Iraq and the region into an undesirable situation that would have catastrophic consequences for the security and stability of Iraq and the region," the spokesman added.

After the American attacks, the Syrian army also reacted, announcing that civilians were also killed by the bombings.

"The American occupation of Syrian territory can no longer continue. The attacks are causing death, injury and massive damage. Leave our country," the Syrian army said.

Also, Iran has called on the US to withdraw and if their sovereignty is violated they will retaliate.

Middle Eastern countries are calling on the US to back off or they will retaliate if they feel threatened.

But the US has already made it clear that it will take revenge for the lives lost and said that for every American injured, they would suffer severely.
