American President Joe Biden speaking at a press conference said that no administration has helped Israel more than his administration and that the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, should remember this.
He said Israel would not make an immediate decision on how to retaliate against Iran's missile strikes earlier this week.
"Israel has every right to respond to attacks on them by the Iranians and others like Hezbollah. But the fact is that [the Israelis] need to be much more careful in dealing with civilian casualties ," he said.
Further, Biden, speaking to reporters in Washington, said he asked Israel not to attack Iran's oil facilities. If I were them, I'd think of alternatives other than hitting the oil fields.
On Thursday, Biden said the US was "discussing" with Israel the possibility of Israeli attacks on Iran's oil infrastructure.
" Look, the Israelis haven't decided what they're going to do about a strike. This is under discussion ," he said.
