United States President Donald Trump has begun his second term with numerous developments that have attracted the attention of public opinion.
His tariff policy, large number of executive orders and tough approach on immigration have dominated political debates during the first months of his term. More recently, the war between Israel and Iran, as well as the US role in that crisis, have added attention to his administration.
However, according to public opinion polls, Trump's popularity has steadily declined over this period. The polls, which are based on interviews with several thousand American citizens, are considered representative of the population, despite a certain statistical margin of error.
The data shows that Trump currently enjoys less support than at the same time in his first term. He is also less popular than his predecessors, Joe Biden and Barack Obama, at the respective stages of their presidencies.

Immigration issues have long been one of Trump's strongest points in the polls, but recent developments have negatively affected this aspect as well.
According to American citizens, the most important problem facing the country remains the economic situation. Rising prices have pushed other topics such as health policy, immigration and climate change into the background.
The economy continues to be considered the most important factor in assessing the president's performance.
