An Ohio sculptor is refusing to deliver a giant 15-foot statue of US President Donald Trump to the group that commissioned it because they haven't paid the bill.
Alan Cottrill, a figurative sculptor with 36 years of experience, says a group of cryptocurrency investors owe him about $90,000 and the glittering statue called "Don Colossus" will not disappear until the bank transfer is approved.
According to Cottrill, the crypto group initially told him that Trump himself could unveil the statue in December or January. Cottrill and his team worked seven days a week to meet that deadline, finishing the gold leaf work in early January. Weeks passed without any deliveries.

"I said okay, send me the money by wire transfer and then we can install the statue, so I'm still waiting," Cottrill said.
Cottrill has a whole team of people who depend on him taking orders to make statues to feed their families.

After numerous requests, the group that commissioned the 4.5-meter-tall bronze and gold statue of Donald Trump has yet to respond.
