The Israel Hayom newspaper, owned by casino billionaire Miriam Adelson - a well-known pro-Israel megadonor who has provided massive financial support to Donald Trump's presidential campaigns - recently published a sensational article shedding light on the joint US-Israeli strategy on Iran.
Journalist Danny Zaken's writing openly describes an ominous plan to provoke internal chaos, with the aim of instigating a coup against the regime's backbone, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
This discovery comes against the backdrop of a large-scale joint military operation, codenamed “Epic Fury” by the Americans and “Roaring Lion” by the Israelis. This operation is reported to have “decapitated” the Iranian leadership, eliminating Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with dozens of senior officials and commanders.
US President Donald Trump, who reportedly oversaw the operations personally from Mar-a-Lago, called the move a resounding success and a "historic opportunity" for the Iranian people to reclaim their country.
The elimination of Khamenei, who had been in power since 1989, was accomplished through a surgical strike, based on intelligence shared with Israel by the CIA. According to intelligence sources cited by Zaken, Washington and Tel Aviv are not content with military strikes alone, but are actively working to create a broad domestic opposition coalition for total regime change.
To this end, contacts have been intensified with ethnic groups on the outskirts of Iran: with the Kurds in the northwest (including the KDPI and the training of Peshmerga forces); with the Sunni Baluchis in the southeast through the “Popular Fighters Front”; and with the Arabs of Khuzestan in the south of the country.
Iran is a complex ethnic and confessional mosaic where Persians, Azeris, Kurds, Arabs and Baluchis have lived side by side for centuries. The new strategy aims precisely to foment divisions by supporting sectarian and ethnic claims to provoke a disintegration similar to the “Balkanization” process that occurred during the breakup of the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s.
This cynical approach pursues only the goal of overthrowing the regime at all costs, completely ignoring the humanitarian consequences or the need for post-war nation-building. But confirmation of this ominous plan also comes from official CNN reports.
They confirm that the CIA has been deeply involved in an operation to arm Kurdish forces in northern Iraq, with the clear aim of fomenting a violent uprising in Western Iran.
According to US intelligence sources, this plan seeks to create an open military front that would force the Iranian regime to disperse its security forces to the outskirts, allowing major cities to erupt in unarmed protests. However, this strategy carries the terrible risk of a protracted civil war, in which armed militias without control could turn Iran into a hopeless hotbed of violence. This CIA scenario is eerily similar to the initial stages of the Syrian civil war, where external support for rebel groups led to the collapse of state integrity and the emergence of terrorist organizations.
Analysts warn that fomenting such an uprising in a country with such a complex ethnic makeup as Iran could cause a domino effect that would destabilize the entire Middle East.
While Trump and his associates sell this plan as "liberation," the reality shows that they are simply preparing the ground for a new geopolitical chaos, where the civilian population will be the main victim of Washington's and Tel Aviv's ambitions.
Trump hinted at this scenario in an interview with Politico, while Adelson's newspaper reports that IDF special forces and Mossad operatives are already operating inside Iranian territory. In this whole scheme, Miriam Adelson's role remains decisive.
As one of Trump's top donors, donating over $100 million to the Save America Foundation, she exerts tremendous influence over the White House's Middle East policies.
In addition to campaign financing, Adelson strongly supports organizations like the Maccabee Task Force, which, under the guise of fighting anti-Semitism, works primarily to silence any criticism of Israeli policies.
