Political Science Professor Enver Bytyçi, commenting on the riots in Belgrade, said that the student movement in Serbia is a movement that should be taken seriously.
According to Enver Bytyç, this student movement in Serbia shows that the people no longer trust politics, but nevertheless this protest has also proven that the political culture is higher compared to our country where, according to him, within 24 hours, students make enemies of their professors.
"The protests are caused by the lack of democracy and freedom, they are caused by rampant corruption and the cooperation of the government with segments of the underground and crime, they are caused by the cooperation of security institutions in the function of power and not of the country, and above all, the conclusion is that Vučić and other leaders in our region do not have the interests of the country in their objective, but only power, to maintain power they do everything ," the professor said on the "Balkan Talks" show on Euronews Albania.
He added that the students have shocked Serbia, and according to him, they have taught us valuable lessons.
"Serbian students have taught us a lesson because they do not compromise. In Serbia, at least parents and professors are supportive of the students, while in Albania when there was a student protest, parents did not have the courage to support them," said Bytyçi.
