
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced the meeting she held in Belgrade with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
This meeting, she said, was "an opportunity to reaffirm Italy's full support for the path of European integration and for the corresponding reform process."
Meloni said he and Vučić discussed cooperation in areas of common interest, as well as international and regional topics, citing the commitment to stability and security in the Western Balkans.
“We also discussed the excellent level of bilateral relations, the aim of further strengthening cooperation between Italy and Serbia in all areas of common interest, and deepened key international and regional topics, reaffirming the commitment to the stability and security of the Western Balkans,” she wrote in X.
The meeting I had yesterday in Belgrade with the President of the Republic of Serbia, @avucic , represented an opportunity to renew Italy's full support for the path of European integration and the path of reform.
