Trump phone conversation with Putin: Russian president does not want to meet with Zelensky!

US President Donald Trump has reiterated his stance on ending the war in Ukraine, during a statement from the White House.

He said he had a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, where the issue of nuclear weapons was also discussed.

Trump said that no specific security guarantees for Ukraine were discussed, but stressed that the United States would continue to support the country.

According to him, security guarantees remain one of the biggest obstacles to achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine.

"On the Ukraine issue, I'm talking to NATO, not Kiev. We're not going to spend any more money on Ukraine ," Trump declared.

Regarding his communication with Putin, Trump revealed to reporters that the Russian president "doesn't want to meet with Zelensky because he doesn't like him."
