President Donald Trump has suggested that European leaders could attend the next meeting between Putin and Zelensky, a 180-degree change from a few days ago.
While asked about his meeting with Vladimir Putin tomorrow and whether he is prepared to offer Putin access to rare minerals to encourage him to end the war in Ukraine, he said that all options remain to be seen.
"We'll see what happens, we'll have a big meeting. I think it will be very important for Russia and it will be very important for us that we will save many lives," he said.
Referring to tomorrow's meeting, he stressed that he is fully convinced that everything will go well, but added that the second meeting with Putin will be the most important one.
"But the most important meeting will be the second meeting that we will have, we will have a meeting with President Putin, President Zelensky, myself and maybe we will bring some of the European leaders, maybe not ," Trump said.
