There will be no elections in Venezuela in the next 30 days.

This was stated by US President Donald Trump, who over the weekend followed in real time the development of a Delta special forces operation that arrested Nicolas Maduro, the President of Venezuela.

 "First we have to heal the country. There can be no elections, there's no way for people to vote," Trump said.

When asked if there was a possibility of a vote in 30 days, the president replied: "No, it will take time. First we have to return the country to normality."
