President Donald Trump has described Volodymyr Zelensky as a dictator and a mediocre comedian. Escalating his attack on the Ukrainian president, the US president has warned him that he will be left without a country if he does not move faster.

Trump's attack on Zelensky came at a time when Russian President Vladimir Putin said that a priority for Russia is resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Putin expressed satisfaction with the progress of Russia-US talks in Saudi Arabia, while adding that Ukraine will not be excluded from negotiations to end the war.
Putin noted that Donald Trump told him over the phone that Ukraine would be included in negotiations to end the war.
