The Israeli military says its warplanes bombed Hezbollah weapons depots and sites used "for the production and maintenance of weapons" in Beirut's Dahiyeh overnight.
The army also claimed to have killed 70 Hezbollah fighters and attacked more than 120 of the armed group's positions on Saturday.
At the beginning of October this year, tensions between Hezbollah and Israel escalated and Israel announced the launch of a ground operation in southern Lebanon against Hezbollah.
As a result of the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, more than 2,500 people have been killed in Lebanon.
Hezbollah has been declared a terrorist organization by the United States. Meanwhile, the European Union has blacklisted the military wing, but not the political party of the group. The Hezbollah party has seats in the Lebanese Parliament.
