The US president-elect, Donald Trump, has commented on the viral moment of his conversation with Barack Obama, at the funeral of the former US president, Jimmy Carter.
Trump was asked by a reporter about the videos that have made the rounds of the network, in which he is seen with Obama, sitting side by side at the funeral, talking and smiling.
The friendly atmosphere of the conversation recorded by the camera with the former democratic president caused a stir, since the relations between the two politicians have never been warm, while several times they have made harsh statements about each other.
"I didn't realize how friendly the conversation seemed ," Trump said from his residence in Mar A Lago, Florida.
In response to a journalist's question, Trump said that he was also impressed when he saw the footage.
"I was thinking we seem like people who like each other. And maybe that's true. We have slightly different philosophies, but maybe we like each other, I don't know. We were having a good time. But anyway, I got along well with almost everyone ," said Trump.
The Republican president-elect refused to reveal details of his conversation with Obama, while the former Democratic president's side has not yet responded to reporters' questions.
That certainly didn't stop some American media from trying to find out what they were talking about at the funeral, using methods like lip reading.
According to a New York Post expert, despite the friendly body language, smiles and jokes, the conversation between Trump and Obama had a serious side, as Trump asked Obama to find a quiet place later to discuss an important issue.
"Call me later, in the lobby," Trump initially said, as Obama appeared, asking him to tell him what he wanted.
"I can't talk now, we have to find a quiet place. It's important, we have to talk outside , "continues the Republican, while Obama shook his head.
While it is not known what the issue was, details uncovered by word of mouth expert Jeremy Freeman "indicate" it could be an international issue.
At one point, Trump leaned over to Obama's side and said, “I'm withdrawn from this. The problem is the conditions. Can you imagine that?".
