The German newspaper " Bild " has published an article, which talks about the DNA and origin of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The German media claims that hackers are the ones who have managed to discover the DNA of Vladimir Putin.
The news comes just days after it was revealed that Putin is so careful about protecting his DNA that on trips abroad, his entourage collects his feces in bags and takes them with them.
“ Fearing that someone might discover his genetic origins and the associated “weaknesses,” Putin avoids physical contact with most of his guests. He only drinks from glasses he has brought with him and then collects them again. Since 2017, he has even reportedly hired agents to collect his feces on trips abroad and send them back to Russia to be destroyed there. But none of this helps the Kremlin boss anymore ,” the Bild article says .
It is further stated that hackers have hacked the computer of Mikhail Putin (58 years old), the second grandson of the Russian president, on behalf of a government agency.
According to what is reported in the German media, Vladimir Putin's grandparents are Mikhail Putin's great-grandparents. Therefore, the two Putins have a genetic similarity of 6.25 percent. So Mikhail and Vladimir both carry the same male haplogroup Y, as they have a common ancestor on the paternal line. This means that they have the same mutations on their Y-Chromosome.
Hackers found explosive information on the computer: Putin's nephew underwent a genetic test by the leading Russian company "Genotek" in December 2022, the results of which he received in February 2023.
" The genetic test of Putin's grandson reportedly shows that Vladimir Putin, like all male Putins, is a member of the haplogroup E-V13, which is rare in Russia. This gene sequence originated in present-day Kosovo. 30 percent of the people there possess it. In the entire Balkans it is about 15 percent, in Russia it is less than five percent ," the Bild article states.
It further adds that the DNA, E-V13, may pose several risks to its owners, including Mikhail and Vladimir Putin. This includes an increased risk of prostate cancer. A study found a link between the disease and Putin's genome.
According to hackers, Putin's nephew is also particularly susceptible to paranoia. It is unclear whether this also applies to Uncle Vladimir.
