Killing of Hamas leader, 'blacklist' of Palestinian leaders Israel

It appears that Israel has a concrete list of political and military leaders it is targeting to eliminate. From Mohammed Deif to Ismail Haniyeh who was killed on July 31, Israel has killed many Hamas members and leaders and is looking for others.

Yahya Sinwar: The leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, he is 62 years old and is considered one of the main architects of the October 7 attack. He is alleged to have killed 12 Israeli informants and his brutality earned him the nickname "The Butcher of Khan Yunis". He was arrested by Israel in 1988, but was released in a prisoner exchange in 2011. According to the Jewish state, he is hiding in a bunker.

Hassan Nasrallah: Born August 31, 1960 in Beirut, he has been Hezbollah's secretary general since 1992. In the late 1980s, he rose through the organization's military ranks. When his leadership potential became clear, he traveled to Iran to continue his religious education at Qom. In 1989, he returned to fight in Lebanon until the end of the civil war. He took over the leadership of Hezbollah after his predecessor, Sheikh Abbas al-Musawi, was killed by an Israeli missile.

Khaled Meshaal: He is 58 years old and the possible ancestor of Ismail Haniyeh. He survived an attack in 1997 in Jordan. He resigned as the political leader of Hamas in 2017, but in his capacity as co-founder of the organization remains very influential in the group. He currently lives in Qatar.

Mohammed Ali Al-Houthu: Born in 1979, he is the head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee of Yemen's Houthi rebels. Fuad Shukr, killed July 31: Hezbollah's No. 2 was killed in an airstrike in Beirut. Born in 1962, he was a close associate of the commander, Imad Mughniyah. Shukr, also known as Hajji Mohsin, was part of the Council of Jihad.

Muhammad Naama Naser, died on July 3: The commander of Hezbollah's "Aziz" unit, nicknamed "Abu Naama", was killed on July 3 by a drone in the Tsur area. His unit is responsible for a large sector of southern Lebanon.

Taleb Sami Abdullah, died June 12: A senior member of Hezbollah's armed forces, nicknamed "Abu Taleb", was killed in an airstrike in the village of Joya (southern Lebanon).

Mohamad Reza Zahdi , died April 1: The 63-year-old Iranian general was killed in an attack in Damascus blamed on Israel. He was the most senior leader of the Revolutionary Guard Corps and the most prominent to die in an attack following the US-ordered assassination of Qassem Soleimani in Iraq in 2020. He was also known as Reza Mahdavi, Hassan Mahdavi or Alireza Zahedi .
