The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, attacked the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, as he said that during his visit to Tetovo, he "promoted the idea of a Greater Albania".
"What happened in North Macedonia was a scandal of scandals. There, the idea of 'Greater Albania' was promoted, its symbols were emphasized, and Kurti was presented as prime minister of all Albanians and prime minister of Tetova, among other things," Vučič said in an interview for "TV Pink" .
Vucic said that naming a street in Çair after Adem Demaç is "scandalous".
"Demaç is a man who spent 28 years in prison, during Tito's time, who was liberal at the time, as the worst and biggest ideologue and separatist of 'Greater Albania'. Demaçi was Kurt's mentor and idol," said Vucic.
He also reacted to the appointment of Ragmi Mustafi as adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi. He said that "Prishtina with money and other things is also controlling Shaip Kamberi and has 'taken' Ragmi Mustafi".
"These are disturbing things, if we were not so strong militarily, so many times stronger in terms of technology, weapons and everything else, do you know how many times Kurt would have attacked every part of Serbia? Look at his ideology, he would not only attack central Serbia, but also North Macedonia, Montenegro, and the question is what would happen to Albania as well", said Vucic .
Vucic said that "Kurti's efforts to create unrest are receiving silent support from a part of the international community".
"We must try to protect our people and our country, maintain peace, accept compromises, make concessions when possible, but always strengthen our army," said Vucic .
