From September 22, 2022, the Vice-Chairman of the Administrative Court of the Vlora District, Bevis Shehaj, appealed to the Vetting Appeals Commission, for opposing the decision of the first instance, which excluded him for 15 years from the system of justice.
The re-evaluation team led by commissioner Mimoza Tasi and relator Ina Rama, although they have the file of evidence for the dismissal of judge Bevis Shehaj ready and overflowing, they are not re-judging him.
Instead of giving the final decision on the exclusion from justice, they are leaving him in office, for 1 and a half years after the dismissal in the first instance, where they are making a mess with the civil and administrative courts of Vlora, Fier, Mallakastra, Lushnja, Berat, Kuçova of Skrapar, which has jurisdiction.
After his dismissal from the first level of Vetting on June 15, 2022 and up to 1 month ago, it turns out that in the ILD, KLGJ and SPAK, numerous denunciations were made against judge Bevis Shehaj, for bargaining with lots, court files of properties , compensations, businesses, etc.
On March 16, 2022, the Vetting Commission had announced the decision for judge Bevis Shehaj, but other denunciations against him for accepting bribes forced the vetting team to postpone the decision and resume the investigation, at the insistence of the ONM observer, Tonci Petkovic.
After 3 months of investigations, the commission confirmed the denunciations against him for the sale of decisions, and even discovered unjustified land, apartments, premises and cars, declared as alleged donations from parents, who had no justifiable resources, but also hidden assets on their behalf.
By Decision no. 541, dated June 15, 2022, Xambazi Bevis Shehaj was dismissed from office and excluded from justice for 15 years, but he continues to be a judge and Vice-Chairman of the Administrative Court of Vlora, where he has increased the volume and values of sales transactions decisions.
The Deputy President of the Court, Bevis Shehaj, even after his dismissal from the vetting; to carry out negotiations and court files, prevents the chancellor of the court from implementing the law; abuse for which, on October 25, 2022, the High Inspectorate of Justice requested his punishment with administrative measures and criminal proceedings and suspension from office.
But the HCJ refused, not giving a punitive measure against him, until after the transition to the Appeal vetting; where according to the official announcement, it is said that the file of judge Bevis Shehaj is in the process of investigation, when the evidence of his dismissal does not need re-investigation because they are official documents.
