When in reality Fatmir Xhafaj is not a victim at all. This is best shown by his career, which has always been colorful, and which has not suffered a drop since the handsome boy from the law faculty hugged Enver Hoxha in the May 1 stand.
It is very possible that that meeting with the communist dictator was not Fatmir Xhafaj's fault, but actually turned into the fate of his life. And for that there is no reason to be victimized.
However, in a normal democratic country, an "oça-poça" photo with the dictator who has led at least a third of his people to prison, would definitely be a stain. At the very least, Xhafaj, especially when he entered politics, could express a sentiment of sympathy for all those victims of the dictatorship who saw him as one of Enver Hoxha's 'pupils'.
In his long, very long political career, from the mouth of the handsome young man on May 1st, we have not heard a single condemning word about the dictatorship, the dictator, but also about the crimes of communism.
Fatmir Xhafaj është i vetmi politikan shqiptar që ka foto me Enver Hoxhën, në një event publik. Në evente private ka edhe Sali Berisha, apo të tjerë që kanë pozuar me diktatorin, por Xhafaj ka qenë një ikonë e propagandës komuniste.
Një kopertinë që qarkullonte në revistat me ngjyra për të treguar “lumturinë” dhe “bukurinë” e rinisë shqiptare nën udhëheqjen e shokut Enver.
Pra Fatmiri i juridikut nuk ishte thjesht një student me 10-a që bëri foto me “udhëheqësin e partisë dhe të popullit”, por një spot propagandistik i rremë i diktaturës komuniste.
E falë atij spoti propagandistik, Fatmir Xhafaj bëri karrierë. Karrerë në shtet, karrierë në parti e privilegje familjare.
Xhafaj u bë gjyqtar e më pas hetues i regjimit, gjithashtu drejtues i një organizate si BRPSH-ja, ku falë kësaj jetoi shumë më mirë se shumë kolegë të tij që ishin emëruar në rrethe e ndërmarrje periferike.
Kur komunizmi u rrëzua, Fatmiri mori shtëpi në zemër të Tiranës sepse ishte djali që kishte qeshur e përqafuar me shokun Enver. Kur shumë të tjerë të rinj, ose rrinin me familjen, ose përfundonin me pallate të kontributit vullnetar në Shkozë të “Autotraktorët”.
Në këtë pozitë ju fut rrëzimit të sistemit, ku në vitet e para u kthye në një tregtar e biznesmen të suksesshëm.
Fotoja me xhaxhin dhe pozita si hetues e turpëroi në fillim që të përfshihej në politikë, por në 1997, fluturoi aq lart sa u bë Sekretar i përgjithshëm i Këshillit të Ministrave. Nga aty vijoi deputet, ministër i Ndërtimit e Turizmit, e ministër i Drejtësisë nën qeverisjen e Fatos Nanos.
Në komisionin ’Olldashi’, shërbeu si rrufepritëse e Edi Ramës në vitin 2003, dhe kur Babloku mori kreun e PS, Xhafaj u ngjit edhe më lart. Deputet, kryetar i komisionit të ligjeve, kryetar i Komisionit të posaçëm të reformës në Drejtësi, e më pas ministër i Brendshëm. Sërish deputet, e sot kryetar i Komisionit të Posaçëm për Antikorrupsionin.
Pak, shumë pak politikanë në Shqipëri, kanë pasur kaq pushtet dhe fuqi apo influencë politike. Megjithatë, Xhafaj, siç dihet ka një njollë të madhe. I vëllai i tij është kapur dhe dënuar për trafikim lëndësh narkotike. E siç e tha vetë Xhafaj mbrëmë, vendimi i formës së prerë të gjykatës italiane, pra Apelit ishte mbi 7 vjet burg. Enver Hoxha do ta digjte të gjallë Geronin dhe të gjithë Xhafajt...
Pavarësisht se Fatmir Xhafaj tentoi të fyente inteligjencen e shqiptarëve, gjithkush e di se në Europë, kur dënohesh me 7 vjet, nuk je një shpërndarës i thjeshtë. Por pjestar i një organizate kriminale mafioze. Asaj që italianët i thonë “associazione a delinquere”, një term i hartuar nga Giovani Falcone, për të akuzuar pjesëtarët e organizatave mafioze si Cosa Nostra, N’dragheta, Camorra, etj., etj.
