Basically, all that has happened since October 7 has nothing to do with religion or religious sentiments. It is a pure political move by Hamas, but using barbaric means...
The clearest illustration of this question is a position given on Eni Vasili's show by a well-known intellectual of Muslim religious groups, Justinian Topulli.
In the show, Topulli expanded the thesis that the inhabitants of Israel are not Semites, i.e. autochthonous, since their race is mostly European, generally Slavic, so they are blond.
This attitude really constitutes the essence of what a group in Tirana, since the start of the terrorist acts of Hamas in Israel, continue to convey to various networks and media in the country.
So, in other words, these groups, who are generally Islamic believers, support the idea of a false Israel, a country that does not belong to them, as they propose that the entire territory of today's state of Israel belongs to the Palestinian Arabs.
This thesis is nothing other than what is said by Hamas, the organizations and also the governments of the Middle East, who not only do not recognize Israel, but make propaganda every day to wipe out the Jewish people from the face of the earth.
The support of the Palestinian cause, that is, human rights, but also the right of Palestine to a state of its own, are not only recognized by the entire West, but also by a large part of public opinion in Israel. There are political forces, not only Israeli Arabs who are part of the Knesset (Parliament of Israel) but also Israeli political forces that support the Palestinian cause. We even have prominent Israeli politicians who have sacrificed themselves for a peace with Palestine.
We remember former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin who was killed by an Israeli extremist in 1995.
Of course, as there are extremist forces in Israel who do not want peace with Palestine, but seek to populate the holy places as much as possible with settlers, in order to increase their participation in what is called the Palestinian state. There is an Israeli extreme right, which does not want peace with the Palestinians, as well as many problems that have opened up all the wars fought so far in the territory of Israel and the Middle East.
From 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1973. Wars that marked new and traumatic developments in that area.
In other words, if in Albania, as everywhere, there are people and groups who want to defend and support the Palestinian cause, there is nothing wrong here. But, after October 7, we are facing an event of macabre proportions. When an armed group has barbarically killed, massacred women, children, old people, young people who were at their work, even non-Israelis, just to use this terrible violence as a political tool.
No punishment from these "lovers" of Palestine in Tirana, for these crimes that have not been seen since the time of the holocaust. Look at the media, the posts, the attitudes of these who call themselves Islamic, during these days.
Meanwhile, yesterday, the head of the Albanian Muslim community, who made an official statement, condemned the violence of Hamas against civilians, but also the violence against the Palestinian people by the Israeli army.
Through harsh attitudes, the Head of KMSH, Bujar Spahiu is considered a "kafir". Even Justinian Topulli, in one of his posts, has placed a photo of Bujar Spahi with the ambassador of Israel in Albania, considering this a 'great haram'.
All this momentum is seeing extremist groups engaged in Albania and Kosovo, which finance an online media registered in Tirana with millions. Which is at the center of the Albanian anti-Semitic crusade. This media publishes articles with half-truths, describes Israel as a genocidal state and occasionally uses the language of some Middle Eastern countries that do not recognize Israel.
This whole campaign has nothing to do with religion, as a religious organization, a clergyman, but also believers, have a duty from the holy books to only distance themselves from violence and call for peace. Any other position they hold may be within their rights, but it is not religious, it is purely political.
And apparently, these groups that are generally supported and financed by Erdogan's Turkey and countries of the Persian Gulf, are concretizing a political initiative in Albania, to use the Palestinian cause as they do.
Basically, all that has happened since October 7 has nothing to do with religion or religious sentiments. It is a pure political move by Hamas, but using barbaric means.
Hamas, with these actions, seeks to achieve at least three important political objectives: To weaken Israel in the eyes of public opinion, to show that it is not as scary as it seems; to polarize the Palestinian public opinion, but also the Arab one, as ISIS did a few years ago, politics with hatred.
On the other hand, Hamas aims and has actually succeeded in destroying the Abrahamic agreements between Israel and Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Emirates. A deal that had politically isolated Iran, Hamas's ally and financier. So this whole panorama is political, and should be treated as such when talking about the Israel-Palestine conflict. The violence then, the ways that are used as a political instrument, is exactly the place and time that "God's people" should speak, dancing clearly. As does the Vatican or any religious institution in the world that does not discuss the culprit in a war; it simply calls for peace and truce. / Pamphlet
