Arab Jerusalem and Serbian Jerusalem

 Arab Jerusalem and Serbian Jerusalem

The tied knot of Kosovo and the rusty sword of Europe

The node is connected again. The rusty sword of Europe cannot cut it, not even the mediators have the power to solve it.

Official Serbia is buying time by tying knots after any progress in normalization talks. As soon as principles are approved, they are violated. Official Kosovo demands the handover of the person who organized and led the attack on the Banja Monastery, described as a terrorist by the international community, but Serbia refuses.

The President of Serbia, as he says himself, is not that he does not want to hand over the organizers and participants of the attack on the Kosovo Police, even though this attack was in fact only the beginning of an armed uprising, well planned and probably executed under the full supervision of Serbian security structures. Perhaps it could have been directed by their friends from abroad, who are already inside Serbia and dictate Serbian politics in the shadows. But, the Serbian President says that there is a formal problem. It cannot hand over the terrorists, as Kosovo officially calls them, to a state it does not recognize.

It cannot be handed over to the European mediators, nor to EULEX, nor to KFOR, because it cannot be handed over to Kosovar justice. This is what happened after the Sarajevo assassination, when Austria-Hungary demanded the surrender of the assassins who killed Prince Ferdinand, and non-surrender became a pretext for war.

What is the meaning of these words?

Is this a play on words, or imposed politics to slide into a conflict?

With whom are the EU, USA and Kosovo negotiating?

With Serbia, or with its strategic partner, with which the West is at war?

But Russia has never opposed Serbia's inclusion in the EU, and would even like to have such a loyal ally in the EU to open internal conflicts.

Russia was not even against the integration of Ukraine into the EU, but did not allow it to integrate into NATO. So, Russia does not even want Serbia in NATO, and here we come to the common points of Russia, Serbia and the former Trump administration, for which the Serbs and the Russians hope to return to the White House.

The eventual return of former President Trump would undoubtedly weaken NATO and stop the surge of continental integrations and the process of globalization in general. It would strengthen major nations, force alliances on these bases on a planetary scale, open negotiations/conflicts for ethnic states, and break up unstable nations or multi-ethnic states around the world.

Anyway, apart from the Serbian president, this would also make other anti-globalist, nationalist, conservative politicians happy.

At the end of the day, the world will move forward anyway, the only question is whether it will move forward with cooperation, integration and identification of man with the planet, or with conflicts of man for territories, inherited or intended by the mythical ancestors, identification of people with their medieval beliefs and national myths to fight for?

Isn't there a similarity between Arab Jerusalem and Serbian Jerusalem, on a historical and symbolic level?

You conquer a city or place and make it the spiritual center of your faith, then make it a motive for religious war.

Serbian cleronationalists call Kosovo "Serbian Jerusalem" based on several monasteries built on the foundations of those that had been burned after the occupation and after violent conversion to the "true faith".

But the attack on Kosovo, with the equally organized attack on Israel, knowing the historically excellent relations between Palestinian and Serb/Yugoslav leaders, opens up a concern of far greater proportions, if desperate efforts are being made to ignite any country that can be ignited and which affects American and European interests. So there was a connection between the prepared attack on Kosovo and the attack that took place on civilians in Israel? Was this a scenario for the liberation of the holy places and the opening of all conflicts and the dispersal of NATO and the US military on the ground?

Or simply, the Serbian President has lost his way between the European desire and the Russian danger? So much so that I wanted to compare him with the blind Serbian "Leader" who is followed by an equally blind mass, as if there was no discrepancy of facts.

In fact, the "Leader", the character of the Serbian writer Domanovic, was an ordinary man, silent, blind indeed, but for whom the people in difficulties believed that he could see the road ahead of him best. No one knows if the Serbian President sees the way out, but everyone is clear that he is not at all silent, nor ... blind. Maybe it will just buy time?

Why does the Serbian president need time?/ Pamphlet
