Why was Edi so unfaithful to Albini?
Edi Rama and Albin Kurti

This behavior of Rama is a precedent that in all likelihood will not pass easily, but will leave a big hole in the relationship between Tirana and Pristina...

What has happened in the last few days between Tirana and Pristina is a dangerous precedent, which historically has not been seen in the relations between the two states.

Edi Rama publicly attacked Kurt not only from the BBC, but also in the Tirana media, when he announced that he did not want to advise his counterpart not to aggravate the situation, because he did not ask for it. An open cynicism, disloyalty in all directions towards a partner that Albania considers for 33 years as the closest.

Never, even when there were disagreements between the heads of Tirana and Pristina, has such behavior occurred, so below the belt between each other.

Ramiz Alia did not have the sympathy of Ibrahim Rugova or Bujar Bukoshi at the beginning of the 90s, but starting from the importance for Tirana-Prishtina cooperation, they worked wonderfully together without any obstacles.

Likewise in the following years, until independence. Tirana and Prishtina have not stopped the mechanism created over the years between the two states to give and receive advice, information, classified intelligence, but also other assistance. But at the moment that Albin Kurti became the prime minister, Rama broke the mechanism of state cooperation gears, and fixed everything on the personal level. Thus creating this absurdity of a blocked Tirana-Pristina relationship.

In the difficult situation in which the north of Kosovo was, Edi Rama could advise Albin, even if the latter would not "ask for it".

Tirana, through the secret service of diplomacy, has the possibility to be aware of the developments, which Pristina would be interested in. Rama could express himself publicly by asking Aleksandar Vucic to withdraw the violent elements sent from Belgrade to the north of Kosovo. But instead, the Prime Minister of Albania did even worse.

At the Bratislava summit, he didn't even meet with Albin Kurti at all, while at the Moldova summit, he paraded with Aleksandër Vucic, toasting himself in coffee, while he didn't meet with Vjosa Osman, against whom he holds a grudge like an Anatolian. babaqemos, since according to him he supported Meta and Berisha once in the campaign.

This is nothing but a violation of the Constitution of the Republic, which obliges the government of Albania to take care of every Albanian living outside the official borders.

This behavior of Rama is a precedent that, in all likelihood, will not pass easily, but will leave a big gap in the relationship between Tirana and Pristina. After the poison has increased in the climate among people, those influenced by politics are harming each other with the frenzy of negative comments on social networks and media.

It is up to Bajram Begaj, as head of state, to intervene immediately before it is too late. There is no need publicly, but as President, to ask Edi Rama to end the blows below the belt against Albini, and to reactivate the diplomatic gears between the two countries.

It is absurd that the ambassador of Kosovo in Tirana is not present in any forum of the Albanian government, while the ambassador Minxhozi in Pristina goes out almost every week in the company of Albin Kurti.

Bajram Begaj, with the constitutional mechanisms, can unblock the situation immediately. And if he fails, he must go public and punish the culprit. / Pamphlet
