Story about Dede Gjo' Lulin at the border point of Morin

The conflict on the border between Kosovo, Serbia, Albania and Macedonia, I'm afraid, will involve all of them...

Almost the same, like Morin's event and Dede Gjo' Luli's event, happened because of the movement. That is, because they stopped the movement... Both events are related to the relations between Albanians and Serbs...

I was determined to go to Morin today as much for the event of the day as for the event of 1915.

... Take it! The view is like a classic Sunday: Some who rest so deeply that they don't even breathe, and some who, encouraged by the children, give gas to small cars towards the beaches of Albania.

Those speeding from Kosovo to Durrës and Shengjin..., they know well why they are going and it seems that they escaped being stopped. The rest that has fallen asleep and is resting - that is what it is; even they themselves do not know why they rest. These, despite the numerous small cars like ants that crawl to sandy beaches, these are giants before small cars. Very large cars, lying on the ground like sick whales. They neither take nor give. One of the drivers opens the high door with a desperate noise, goes to the toilet and returns...

You find both of these directions of movement together at the border crossing point of Morin in Kukës:

Both parties have appealed to the government of Kosovo through several televisions and other media, not to cross the Kosovo-Albania border. However, while the first ones with cars 'like flies' broke the order and went to the beaches, those who want to enter Kosovo cannot pass. The bellies of big cars are full of goods from Albanian manufacturers. These are contracted by buyers from Kosovo or Belgrade - but what does it matter; they are people, traders, economists, family members who are waiting for the goods. Even the producers of Albania expect money from the sale of goods and continue their lives.

In those 'whales' there are products from Myzeqe, Korça, Berat, Vlora..., from olive oil, wine, peppers, tomatoes, strawberries... We put everything on our family tables.

They were captured in Morina, just as three Kosovar Albanian policemen were captured in Serbia. Goods are delayed and spoiled. Contracts are also falling. The two or three countries connected to the trade are losing a lot, like Kosovo, Albania or Serbia.

The government of Kosovo, due to deviations and quarrels with Serbia, has decided not to allow 'whale legs' with goods to come from Belgrade or go to Belgrade. The heart of the government is mostly with Albania.

However, this is where the whole problem rests. If the whole world shakes, from America, Europe, China, Russia, Saudi Arabia..., the Kurti of Kosovo does not let go.

Here in Morina, the movement has been killed. Just as the traveler is killed who has set out to hasten on the affairs of his family, to go and come, to send goods and bring goods, to receive news and carry people.

With Dede Gjo' Lul, the people of Orosha decided differently: One of the villagers, Bibë Marku, stood up and said that he would bury Dede in his father's grave.

- Is there a church or the Pope or the government that forbids me to open my father's grave? - he said, and only silence answered him.

Bury the one who came from afar, Hoti e Gruda's husband, and solve the whole drama.

... The conflict on the border between Kosovo, Serbia, Albania and Macedonia, I'm afraid, will involve them all. Mostly those of Kurti intend to direct the fire here from the 'motherland'. Then we have nothing to complain about, not even the mountaineer of Oroshi can solve it anymore./ Pamphlet
