Economic expert Pano Soko has spoken about the drastic fall of the euro.
He stated that the fall of the euro benefits the government as he adds that the subsidies are what can improve the current situation where he is. Specifically, subsidizing the losses that the exchange rate creates.
This is the lowest value since the release of the European currency in the Albanian market.
"If the government intends to help this branch of industry to survive, then it should subsidize.
Due to the fall of the euro, the government calculates less debt today, since it is calculated with the new exchange rate. The government is not there to make money, it should be there to get as much money as it needs to perform the services" , he said to TCH.
