It's been 24 hours since a very lukewarm meeting with Sali Berisha in Shkodra after returning from Podgorica where an EPP meeting was taking place, in which the doctor managed to shake hands with Manfred Werner.
At the Shkodra rally, held at the Sports Palace, where Berisha's DP presented the district's candidates, there was a speech from Berisha, which has not been heard by the Shkodra DP since 2023.

That is why he savagely attacked the historic leader of the Shkodra Democratic Party, one of its founders, Xhevdet Amuli, who is a candidate for deputy for Lulzim Basha's constituency.
Without a hint of hesitation, Berisha accused one of the most well-known names of the DP and with a real record of persecution in communism, as "selling out to Rama". But as happens in Shkodra, the response comes more savagely if he steps on the wrong foot. Mr. Omuli made a bombshell statement last night at dinner, where he said that the two members of the closed list of the DP in Shkodra have paid 700 thousand euros.
A bombshell accusation, which has been talked about in the city for days, but as of today no one has responded. This is actually the biggest scandal so far in the launch of the campaign. The payment of such a large amount, in a district where almost all candidates are catapulted from the center and not from the base.
However, Xhevdet Amuli's stance was expected from his political, personal and family profile, where he does not hesitate to touch dignity. But why do the SP and the Shkodra municipality not respond politically to Berisha's insults, when in reality the result of May 14, 2023 is linear in every polling station in the city, even where Bajra's opponents are, whom Berisha never mentions.
