The Balkans are being damaged by Bosnia (Serbia), even though the eyes are on

Kosovo is only one aspect of the unrest that Bosnia can bring, as the Republika Srpska Assembly is already going much further: They are rejecting the power-sharing structures that exist in Bosnia...

It is tiring, annoying, but more than that, it is unacceptable that a state with its own problems so big turns into an obstacle for the future of the Balkans. This is happening with the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) due to the ongoing problems brought by the nightmare of the Republika Srpska (RS). Finally, the Assembly of this Republic seeks not to recognize the authority of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia. More than that, "almighty Dodik" and his allies not only no longer want to respect the authorities of the separation of powers in the federation, derived from the Dayton Agreement, but more than that they also show the certainty of doing them .

Are we really interested in what is happening in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina?! Apparently: Yes. After the events of the North in Kosovo, Zheljka Cvijanovic, member of the BiH presidency, has found a seemingly secondary way to blacken the life of Kosovo regarding the visa-free regime, influenced by the Berlin Process. The SNSD official has called this issue as destructive to the vital interest of the Republika Srpska entity!!!

The argument has a little heat already, and from the objections that are being put on the back of the "Kurti" government from everywhere: the "regime" of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, "does not deserve benefits", she said. The process of removing visas for the region, here we are talking about Kosovo because the region has overcome this situation, started after the signing of the agreement for free movement in the Western Balkans, from November 2022, within the framework of the Berlin Process. This refers to freedom of movement only with IDs in the Western Balkans. Fortunately, it has already been decided for Kosovo that January 1, 2024 will be the moment when its citizens will move without visas throughout the continent, a moment so much awaited for the new Republic, faced with so many problems.

Above all, from the situation of the dialogue, where apart from the rigidity of Prime Minister Kurti's decisions, which are often inconsistent with the international factor (even the latter of the declaration of two organizations as terrorist organizations), we are facing a Serbia that often squeezes the North, so vital in Kosovo in issues. Knowing the historical ties between Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, many people understand that blocking the lifting of the visa regime, which has burdened the residents of both countries for years, is a very one-sided act by Bosnian Serbs.

Meanwhile, the other two ethnic groups, with their authorities, have agreed and have not raised any problems with the ratification. Paradoxically, politicians from Republika Srpska reject ratification, even though the former chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegeltija, who is a member of Dodik's party, was one of the signatories of that document in Berlin a few months ago. . But Kosovo is only one aspect of the turmoil that Bosnia can bring, as the Republika Srpska Assembly is already going much further: They are rejecting the power-sharing structures that exist in Bosnia. These separations of powers were defined in the Dayton Accords, which ended the war in Bosnia. We recall that the agreement reached in 1995 divided government functions,

It is understood that the blocking process is still with the support of the Lower House of the Parliament of Republika Srpska, it must go to the Upper House and the approval of the presidential level in this entity. It is also known that: the high international representative in Bosnia, Christian Schmidt, can also cancel the legislation, to provide functioning of the civil institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In summary, the EU seems on the verge of bankruptcy in the Balkans, due to the spirit of the Serbs, apparently the RS who are "violating the spirit of the state constitution and the Peace Agreement of 1995", according to the authorities.

We are interested in Kosovo and when you look at its problems, you realize that it is Bosnia that is crushing a reconciliation process, which was conceived with difficulty in Dayton, which took another breath with the end of the War and the independence of Kosovo, but which is not can live without the democratization of Serbia and its derivative: Republika Srpska. Europe must see that Kosovo, apart from its mistakes, is defending itself against the impossible, which comes from looking at the foreign factor, but also the relativization of the Serbian factor.
