All those parties in the West, which during democracy have been occupied by the arbitrary authority of an absolute leader; but unacceptable to public opinion; the near future has seen these political parties disintegrate...
The Albanian right is in the midst of an identity crisis - this is the political truth of this time.
And it has entered a crisis of its leadership; which the theoretical study of Western democracy knows very well.
I.
The Democratic Party does not have a leading leader, because its current chairman, Sali Berisha, is unacceptable to American and European politics: he is persona non grata in the United States of America and Great Britain.
And here, politically, everything ends.
Saliu seems to be relying on the lies that various political circles close to him are systematically weaving.
But everyone must understand that a trial with criminal charges at SPAK is impossible to win.
We must emphasize as a fact that SPAK has not initiated any criminal case so far; unless it has had a legally correct accusation, based on evidence that supports the truth.
But in the meantime...
We need to see how events will unfold in the Democratic Party; because its weakening has greatly damaged democracy in Albania.
II.
In the history of Western democracy, all parties that have not respected the will of their electorate in a political battle they have lost have gone towards their complete dissolution. And it should be noted that these parties have been led down this path by the absolute power of a leader who has been stuck in his irrational or even absurd absolutism.
But there is also an internal rule in Western democracy that says: when a party that has claimed to win the elections and has lost them badly; but has then replaced the party leadership with a new chairman and a group of eloquent and charismatic politicians; it has returned to power even after 15 or 20 years, having been removed from it.
III.
Here, this is the truth of modern politics, which is called by one concept: Democracy.
Then?
If the Democratic Party accepts and implements this scheme, Albanian politics, in the function of political power, will take on a new color in the conception and governance of the country.
But, all those parties in the West, which during democracy have been occupied by the arbitrary authority of an absolute leader; but unacceptable to public opinion; the near future has seen these political parties disintegrate.
This happens because the loss of the following defeat in the parliamentary elections brings a political party to the stage where it has an urgent need to recreate, as soon as possible, its new political leadership.
This is now an axiom of modern political philosophy throughout Western democracy.
And this should work in Albania too, because this is the principle of a political doctrine already proven by European democracy, often and more often, in the history of democracy...
