Berisha's unique dominance in Albanian politics

He has a superiority that he manages to transmit to his collaborators.

If Elisa had put the last session before the May 11 elections in the Assembly on the monitor - Sali Berisha's boasting of victory, Flamur's middle finger to the hall, Gaz Bardhi's rants towards Balluk, and above all the "gafurrje", as they say in Central Albania, of Mediu with LaCivita - and watched them again today, she would clearly understand that all Berishism has an indisputable superiority over Albanian politics.

They have qualities that no other political race in Albania has. And among them, Sali Berisha is more unique than anyone. They have the ability to lose deeply, in the most humiliating way, and to behave as if they have humiliated you.

They have the ability to do nothing of what they say and act as if it's your fault. They have the ability to threaten you so that you don't dare confront them, and after you defeat them, act as if it's your shame that you defeated them.

If you watched their speeches today in Parliament, it seemed like they had won by a landslide, but Edi Rama had a magician (not LaCivita) who had reversed their result.

If you looked at their speeches, it seemed as if they had not received 200,000 or so fewer votes as a party, but more.

If you looked at their speeches, it seemed as if the 170,000 opposition votes were not received by the new parties, but by them.

If you looked at their speeches, it didn't seem like in some circles the result went beyond even the socialists' predictions.

Those who promised to protect the votes and expose the process have no letter – not a single one – as proof. But they track their opponents' Facebook, hoping to find some mockery during the campaign to sell as evidence.

Those who had commissioners in every center, do not even have copies of the minutes, because they were left without bread that night. Out of desperation for this, they accuse Ilir Rusmalin of being a mercenary who does not allow them to receive the minutes. Today, Celibashi ordered one of his directors to give them copies of the minutes in electronic form, and we expect that tomorrow someone will come out and say that Celibashi is not a mercenary.

Those who hoped to gain from the diaspora – who vote in the West, in a free country – were buried by it. And now they accuse it of being sold out to Edi Rama.

And to understand all this theater, it is enough to look at their old parliamentary group that will be back in the Assembly, while the group of plebiscite winners has been renewed with over half of the deputies. That is what the fight is about.

When you watch this whole scene, when you see how they brag about their defeat, when you see how much effort they make to show that they will not reflect, when you see that they are very determined to go all the way to the final degradation of the gang that remains around Sali Berisha, you are finally convinced that Sali Berisha has a rare superiority over any other politician in this country.

He has a superiority that he manages to transmit to his collaborators.

There is no shame.

And this… is not a little.
