What does Kosovo gain and lose if it will be for or against the USA

New wine in an old barrel

What does the position for and against the USA bring for Kosovo in the created situation and what should Albanians do on both sides of the border in this "evil hour" of history. Support from the great leader, resolution of the crisis and normalization of the situation. Otherwise, lack of support, the deepening of the crisis and endangering the existence of the state.

"It means that the stubbornness, the Balkan anger, the sick Sedra, the thirst for glory outweigh the need for unity. I try to console myself with the thought that energetic peoples like the ancient Greeks or Jews were like that: full of disturbing turmoil. I try to avoid thinking that there is, however, a great difference between us and them. In the evil hour, they always knew how to make a fist, but we didn't". Ismail Kadare has said in the form of a definition what Albanians do, they do not come together in an "evil hour". (Kadare Ismail, Ra ky mort eu pame, page 10). While he was an actor and factor in the Rambouillet Conference in March 1999, he watched with concern what was happening there: "The KLA was finally convinced to sign the agreement, but now Qosja doesn't want to. Qosja obeyed, but it's the KLA who is the one who intervenes. Its boss, Adem Demaçi, has threatened his own people that he will declare them traitors. ...Christopher Hill was furious with part of the delegation.

Madeleine Albright is incredibly disappointed. In various circles, there is talk of Albanian disloyalty. Albright declared: If the two sides do not agree, there will be no military intervention in Yugoslavia, and if the cause of failure is the Albanians, aid to them will be cut off. On March 18, 1999, what is called the Ramboullet Agreement was signed in France between Kosovo and the American and British delegation, and it was not signed by the Serbian side. It was this agreement that paved the way for NATO's intervention in Kosovo by declaring its territory under the administration of the North Atlantic military alliance. It was this agreement that brought about the liberation of Kosovo, the bombing attacks on Serbia and a series of subsequent processes that were finalized with the declaration of the state of Kosovo on February 17, 2008. But, after more than 15 years, the situation in the newest state in Europe is at the existential limits. Now Kosovo seems to be heading towards the zero point and once again it is the stubbornness, the Balkan anger, the sick cedar, the thirst for glory that have revived and triumphed again.

In fact, there is another reason that is against Kosovo. The tragedy of this situation is that the US has its own interest in pulling Serbia away from itself and not leaving it in the lap of Russia, which has always had its horse in this corner of Europe. Consequently, Serbia is the big "pet" of the US for the big reason to cut off Russian influence. But does this justify Albin Kurti's stance against the USA? At some moments it seems as if his attitude is exactly what Serbia intended to achieve. And in a way she has succeeded; Kosovo is against the US and Serbia is closer than ever to the US.

Kosovo vs. USA

The worst of the worst is the fact that Kosovo officially has the lowest relations with the USA, precisely the designer and the one that produced the state of Kosovo. Violent protests by Serbian gangs in the North of Mitrovoca, the departure from work of Albanian mayors elected in municipalities with a Serbian majority, the statements of Prime Minister Albin Kurti against Secretary of State Antony Blinken have brought about a situation where official Kosovo is against the USA. We are reproducing some phrases from the statements made by Prime Minister Kurti against the USA: "American policy is inexperienced and unfair; "I am not afraid of America's sanctions"; The American secretary is naive”; "Secretary Blinken has hurt me"; "America does not think deeply".

These are enough to understand the situation that Kosovo is in. Meanwhile, the appearance on stage of a platform sent by Prime Minister Edi Rama to President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Schultz brought a new boiling point. Written by American specialists, on the one hand, it is seen as a good formula to solve this situation, and on the other hand, it is drawn as a glory that Edi Rama wants to receive in the eyes of international opinion, especially the American one. And in this evil hour, the Albanians did what they know how to do even better, turn against each other. The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, was harsher towards Rama, declaring: "A defect is in principle because the Albanian prime minister should not have done such actions without sitting down with the prime minister of Kosovo, even without clarifying all these problems together. They meet often, this was a side action". Simply, within the issue of the crisis in Kosovo, another front has been opened in a more extreme form, that of the big clash between the Albanian Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti and the Albanian Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama. But in this situation we are in, are the personal triumphs of Albin Kurti and Edi Rama worth it? Is Albin Kurti's pride and stubbornness worth as much as the land and the state of Kosovo? that of the big clash between the Albanian Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti and the Albanian Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama.

Nëse Kosova do jetë pro ose kundër SHBA

Option 2: Kosovo but USA. Benefits: Normalization of relations with the USA, lifting of sanctions, resolution of the crisis in North Mitrovica, normalization of the situation in the entire state of Kosovo, recognition of Kosovo by Serbia, increased recognition of the state of Kosovo, recognition by Serbia, normalization of relations with Albania.

So, in the conditions we are in, Kosovo has to choose: To be with the USA and its partner or against it? The answer to this question is not part of a missing interview with Albin Kurti, but the very existence of Kosovo. In this evil hour that Kosovo is going through, all Albanians must come together.
