The unnecessary illusion that Trump will remove Berisha's "non

What is the value of this storm in the glass, apart from a moral satisfaction for the affected person? How much political weight does it really have?

Since the day after the plebiscite victory of the conservative billionaire Donald Trump, in the American elections, the Albanian opposition has been engulfed by an unjustified euphoria which is primarily related to the possibility of removing the 'non-grata' stain, which has weighed on the leader for three years her Sali Berisha.

Someone mentions that there are indications that the new administration, once in power, will break away from the policies of Secretary of State Blinken and his handler Soros to blackmail the leaders of our region through the instrument of the US entry ban. . There are even those who swear that this will happen very soon.

Others, more enthusiastic still, see a positive signal in the election of Senator Marco Rubio to the position of the head of American diplomacy. Their hope is based on the attitudes of this successor of Blinken, who denounced at the beginning of the year the use by the Democrats of the "non grata" sanction, as an instrument to hit conservative and pro-American leaders in the world. Although the letter that Rubio, along with several other senators, focuses on the policies for Latin America, no one among the Albanian PD-ists has doubts that the analogy is the same for us.

The most enthusiastic add to the above facts the appointment in the organizational chart of the future power of the "berishist", Lee Zeldin. The appointment of the congressman who has called the head of the DP as a friend of the Bush family and an enemy of Soros, at the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, is being commented as a positive signal. The fact that he addressed questions to the secretary of state in the foreign commission, that he sent him several letters that remained unanswered, where he sought facts for the non-woman argument, increases the euphoria that in Washington, along with many other things, the wheel of history has changed also for our country.

This wave of enthusiasm is fueled by the few pro-opposition media, as well as Berisha's own family members, as well as his closest collaborators who demand the lifting of the sanctions, preferably before the next spring elections.

But the question that arises is: what is the value of this storm in the glass, apart from a moral satisfaction for the affected person? How much political weight does it really have?

To understand this, he must first recall once again the goals he had and the goals achieved by the act of "non women". As a movement directly lobbied by Tirana, announced a long time ago with the mouth of Edi Rama himself, reinforced with corrupt methods alla McGonigal, not supported by any document, just as the former head of secret services Grenell claimed, it had two objectives. First, as an immediate aim to hit the opposition and blunt its reaction after the electoral massacre of 2021. In the long term, it tended to give more power to Prime Minister Rama by giving him loyal opponents, who pulled diplomats by the ear stabilocrat.

The second objective was that if Berisha did not obey, he would be massacred through the weapon of the new justice. So if they couldn't get him out of the scene politically, the legal way had to be used for that. Escobar's expression, we made it ours, now it belongs to Albanian justice to find the facts, best proves that non grata served to create the atmosphere of isolation of the historic leader of the Democrats.

If we look at them from today, three years later, both of these objectives have been achieved. The overwhelming majority of the opposition electorate treated the secretary of state's decree as toilet paper. It created the opposite reaction. Yuri Kim's cries of "you will eat grass", "don't vote for the non grata" were laughed at by the voters. Those who held iso to them either left the stage in shame, or were forced to return with their tails in the saddle to Berisha. So, politically, within the PD, the effect of the lobbied act that Blinken signed was zero.

While, on the other hand, as ammunition for the weapon of new justice, he achieved his goal. With the excuse that the Americans want him in prison, SPAK prosecutors isolated the democratic leader through an impeachment file.

Both of these views show the same thing, that today non grata is a letter that can no longer be used. Those "Atlantic Euros" who scrambled after her, today do not exist electorally, while the power that used it for the criminal attack on Berisha, now that it is completely controlled by Rama, has no intention of backing down. As such it is neither valid nor useful anymore. In the lap of the opposition, it lost its weight, while as far as the government needed, it fulfilled its mission.

Therefore the question arises: why all this enthusiasm in DP for the devaluation of an already worthless paper? Why is so much importance given to an act that, even though it was undone, has no other effect than to caress Berisha's personal pride, while if it didn't happen until the election, it could create a boomerang effect?

This is exactly another dimension of the trap that the opposition is stepping into, putting a near-equal sign between the overthrow that happened in the USA and the necessary effect that it can provoke here on our sides. This illusion, not at all realistic, ignores the fact that on January 20, in the white house, a conservative leader who denounces Soros and depp state, but who is at the same time a politician who despises democratic values and worships autocrats, will enter the White House. .

As such, Donald Trump, with his unpredictability, gives no guarantee that he can pose a threat to the Albanian regime. It wouldn't even be surprising if Rama came out stronger, even if the "miracle" happened and he became non grata. ©Lapsi.al
