But for these officials, who are under your direct control, why are there never any statuses? Why don't you mention names, why don't you make public any "trenches" of real evildoers with power and authority?
Mr. Prime Minister, we saw today a reaction full of flames, smoke and big words about justice. You didn't like a judge? You call him "anti-law" and "anti-Islam". Did you get angry? Do you demand accountability? But who are you to demand accountability selectively, as it suits you politically? "Mr. Rama, justice is not done by your statuses, but by the fight against theft with the state logo!"
Mr. Prime Minister, you rightly feel outraged about some judicial decisions that do not match your political will. But when you turn into a supreme judge from the balcony of Facebook, accusing specific names like “Gjela” or “Balliu”, you are not actually fighting for justice, you are putting on a SHOW, making noise, channeling the failures of your government into a new monster that you call “the old justice”.
While you talk about the "rule of law", citizens are faced every day with a mortgage that sells rights with a friend and with envelopes, with state offices that serve only after bribery, and with an administration that treats people like servants. And for these officials, who are under your direct control, why are there never any statuses? Why don't you mention names, why don't you make public any "trenchments" of real evildoers with power and signature?
You talk about justice, but you know very well that the biggest theft in this country is not a court decision, it is the systematic theft that happens every day, in every office, with the logo of the Republic and the silent blessing of the government.
The Supreme State Audit Office says it, 1 billion euros in losses per year from abuses of public funds. The sterilization tender, the check-up tender, the hemodialysis scheme, are open wounds, they are thefts of people's health, and for these there are no "cocks", no "faces", no accusations. There is only silence.
And let's be honest, you are not the one who can talk about integrity in justice, when the justice system is the product of your reform, of institutions elected by your majority and controlled through the mechanisms of your political extensions. If justice is corrupt, it is also because you built it that way.
As for Judge Hazbiu, I do not know him personally but only in court proceedings, I do not defend him if he has made a mistake, but I know that he has a reputation for wisdom, intelligence and honesty. He does not need public protection, because the law, conscience and citizens who have seen him at work with his fair decisions protect him. Better an honest judge who makes a debatable decision, than a government that steals by law and demands applause for this.
So, Mr. Rama, stop the theater of "justice that doesn't convince you" and start cleaning your political house. Start with the ministers who break the law, with the directors who award tenders at night markets, with the municipalities that sell building permits in exchange for apartments.
You say that you have no authority over justice. Then why do you speak as if you are above it? Maybe because you are used to controlling everything and real justice seems like an unbearable obstacle to you? But justice, the true justice, that citizens want, is not for the one who shouts the loudest, but for the one who serves honestly. And that justice will come. It may be late, but it will not forget. And it will not spare you, nor those who are hiding behind your name today.
And I have a question for you, Mr. Prime Minister, who allowed these illegal buildings to be built that you are now confiscating with propaganda fury and selling as a triumph of the rule of law? Because no one builds palaces and entire tourist villages in the middle of Tirana or in the heart of Theth without the knowledge, approval or indifference of the state and local administration.
Aren't your officials the ones who for years turned a blind eye, signed documents, gave the green light in exchange for bribes and shared percentages from illegal floors?
Aren't they the same ones who, even today, continue to sit in offices, be promoted, rewarded, and "hide" behind the flag of renaissance?
Do illegal constructions fall from the sky? No, Mr. Rama. They are the direct product of an administration rotten with corruption, which operates under the rule of silence in return for payment.
So, before you flex your muscles towards justice, start by cleaning up your political house and the administration that serves your power, because that is where the true source of lawlessness lies.
