But why did the doctor take such a train full of broken trees into the coalition?
Unlike the primaries, which were a very complicated process and linked to more financial than political issues, Sali Berisha's coalition list for the May 11 elections has opened up a lot of debate within the Democrats, or opposition supporters.
Berisha has decided without any fantasy or political idea to copy Trump's MAGA, literally translating the coalition in question as "Great Albania."
And in this "Great Albania" the doctor himself is the one who is the defendant for the "Partizani" file, Ilir Meta, also the defendant for CEZ-DIA, Fatmir Mediu for Gërdec, Vangjel Dule together with Shpëtim Idrizi. But there is also Sazan Guri, Selami Jenisheri and Kujtim Gjuzi. Without forgetting Nard Ndoka and Agron Duka, to whom is added the "great" scholar Gjet Ndoi and Dhimitër Muslia, who in 2013 ran with Edi Rama, but in 2009 were with the DP.
In a word, the "MAGA" of the doctor's return has brought with it "new trends", which today it is not up to us to prejudge how many votes they will bring. However, based on what they have brought in the past, they seem five to nothing.
But why did the doctor take such a train full of broken trees into the coalition?
This is called entering into a logic where the latter is absent, but ultimately, the reason for such an alliance must be sought, which looks like a circus train, where no one is left without laughing.
There are electoral factors there, although there are not many. It is the PL that needs to be seen how much power it has today compared to 2021, Agron Duka's Agrarian Party, it has been proven that it has at least 1 MP in the Durrës region, PBDNJ is not an electoral factor but more of a diplomatic connection with Athens.
And the others? It seems like a joke, but how Gjuzi or Jenisheri, once upon a time - respectively in 2021, had votes. As absurd as it may seem, these abstract characters have managed to penetrate the territory by receiving votes, with a street logic that "we will impose ourselves on the DP" to gain some positions. The abundant votes of 2021, although they have never been analyzed, also include the absurd candour of the surrealists Jenisheri&Gjuzi and others. But what happened in 2019, when the DP burned its mandates? And the surrealists became MPs? They did not leave the mother, sister, family members of the poor without cursing them and the bicycle without mocking them.
Although in political logic, Jenisher and Gjuzi saved not the opposition, but the DP by taking seats in Parliament. They accused them of being Rama's hired hands, but reality speaks differently. They could not be with Rama because the voters have them with Berisha. Although surrealists, they love the doctor. Today, naturally, Jenisher & Gjuzi have returned to base, and this is their victory, not Sali Berisha's. Because the doctor needs the surrealists. Little by little, but they have shown that they own a group in the respective territories. This victory of the surrealists is an important political development of the opposition, where two characters who have called the family media stupid, today the doctor has made allies.
However, the parody of MAGA of Nish Tulla is and will be the Dule-Idrizi couple. Vangjel Dule has been a political ally of the DP and Sali Berisha for years now, even very important, along with Athin. Shpëtim Idrizi's PDIU has nothing in common with this coalition, and even has its real political opponent. However, there are 4 elections that it is an ally. This happens, entering the pragmatic logic of the PDIU that otherwise it does not get deputies. And of course it is done to politically systematize Shpëtim, Drizim and Mesila Doda and to make them deputies. But how can they be in a political "ear" with Vangjel Dule? This is the dilemma, or the metaphor of the swamp that gives this pleasant and delightful parody with Sazan, Sela and Kujtim, an iron taste that warns you of a heart attack. Shpëtim with Vangjel? So what's new here? They have been together since 2013!
