The operation of political parties (unlike those in Europe), mainly Marxist-Leninist ones in Latin America, has been and remains fashionable. We remember how they used to come to the ALP congresses, with dozens and hundreds of ML party leaders, from Venezuela, Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Cuba, Salvador, etc., and how they showed their political activity in their speeches. in their countries ruled by imperialism and capitalism". Seeing the frequent cases that are happening in our Parliament, in the Parliament of a NATO member country, of a country with friendship and close partnership with the EU and the USA, by a group of deputies that only from one " "Democratic Party" cannot come, I think they are behaving the same as the ML party. They gather, light bonfires, overturn chairs and tables, light fires in the hall, break microphones, throw bottles of water at the pulpit, the speaker of the Assembly and the government, and fight with police and guards.
There is more.
They warn of "civil disobedience", going to Edi Rama's office, or blocking the normal activity of the capital. I don't know what more the Marxist-Leninist parties in Latin America can do in their parliaments. The bad thing and the problem is that the rival groups of the Democratic Party do not understand that they are finally leaving the "alignment" as a political party, they do not understand that violence belongs to another system, another era, and that with violence they come to power parties that live in the mountains and villages and where totalitarian regimes fight. Albania has overthrown totalitarianism for 33 years, but this does not mean that the law should not act, and that no one who burns, destroys, and incites violence should be punished. Having in their "gene" the Marxist-Leninist embryo as a political force, the old PD and the Re-establishment, are unable to leave the tradition.
Violence (and not logic and cooperation) has been and remains the theory and practice of that political force, which I don't know why it has the name "Democratic". Having nothing to do with the normal functioning of the sister parties in Europe, it seems that the Democratic Party or its three groups are unable to wake up, they "call to their senses" before it's too late, as the new elections are approaching.
So far, the chances that the three respective PD groups will get the right number of deputies they got in the last elections are zero. We cannot claim that the country will be "governed" by a party divided into "lokmas", as it would be fatal for the future of Albanians.
This DP, or anyone else within it, who aims to win the elections in 2025 or 2030, must understand that, without unification of thought, action, without internal freedom and democracy, without a responsible leadership, and without removing violence from theory and its practice never receives a majority of votes from the Albanians.
