SPAK's relationship with Sali Berisha is a real test of that institution.
What is the agenda of SPAK? The denunciations were mentioned from the beginning, that is, the lawsuits that come to this institution. In fact, SPAK has been an institution that has been flooded with lawsuits, but it only started with the denunciations of the opposition. This is a fact.
SPAK in analog and digital mail has been flooded with complaints from citizens, but it has chosen politics as its priority. And this is where it all starts. This is where the responsibility that SPAK must bear also begins.
In normal logic, even as a result of political denunciations, SPAK should have a list, a sequence of the greatest horrors. When there are prosecutors today in SPAK who have been part of the investigations of these horrors, it is about January 21 and Gërdec.
There is an axiom that SPAK acts based on complaints, but the complaints about both Gërdec and January 21 have been endless. Why have they not been investigated?
SPAK has prioritized the opposition's denunciations. Today, with the Veliaj case, the situation comes as a challenging development, when SPAK's political defense, as Edi Rama himself said, will not be silent.
And since the silence fell, what was the SPAK investigation into the serious abuse of political power in Albania? Speaking of world models, Al Capone was investigated because he had captured all of politics and justice, so the US government sent a prosecutor to investigate and bring him to justice.
To give an example that there are no untouchables. Who untouchables has SPAK affected? Sali Berisha! But why does Sali Berisha influence SPAK's politics to this day, when in reality he is the only defendant?
SPAK's relationship with Sali Berisha is a real test of that institution. Because Berisha is the man accused of the greatest corruption, he is the politician who has blackmailed and dishonored the prosecutors and judges of SPAK and the GJKKO the most.
The SPAK file on the Partizani case is a very important development, clearly showing how a state property was given to the Berisha family and 19 towers were built from it. Which were built with money that is unknown where it came from and the profits were staggering.
No television media has made the Partizani file public, and as soon as they started it, they were threatened by Sali Berisha. And today, what do those media not say about Erion Veliaj, who has no connection to an analogous case? However, there is a case in the impunity investigations; why doesn't SPAK start with Gërdec on January 21?
