Why does Berisha have the right to hate Albania?

What drives Sali Berisha crazy are neither drug traffickers nor being "non grata", but the profound ignorance that Albanians showed on May 11th!

Kreshnik Spahiu was tired yesterday arguing how low Sali Berisha's attempt to declare that there are terrorist organizations in Albania that should be added to the US blacklist is. And as a stronger argument he had the fact that neither Russia nor Serbia have ever requested that Albania be declared a country with terrorist organizations.

Spahiu's attempt to find geopolitical arguments against Berisha's request is a wasted effort. Sali Berisha is not in a position to tarnish Albania by declaring terrorist organizations. His request to President Trump to declare the drug "cartels" in Albania as terrorist organizations would be truly serious, if there were drug cartels in Albania and if President Trump were taking advice from Sali Berisha.

But neither the first nor the second is true.

In Albania, there are undoubtedly drug traffickers and drug trafficking gangs, as in every country in the world. In one of those clashes, the deputy from Sali Berisha's open list in Durrës, who became an MP from that gang, almost lost his life. But to understand what Albanian bandits are, it is enough to take a look at the wiretaps on SKY and you will understand that you are dealing with a disorganized crowd of treacherous, cowardly killers with no connection to any mafia structure or international dome. The wiretaps reveal them to be so banal that even a sign of fear towards them is not justified. Imagine that with the testimony of one repentant person, almost 90 percent of them were put in prison.

So, we are not in a situation where we have drug cartels and Sali Berisha knows this very well.

Second, Sali Berisha has acted as if he has addressed the most powerful man in the world on this issue, to whom, before sending this request, he has filled his desk with endless requests, accompanied by checks for 6 million dollars, to remove Sali Berisha himself from the lists of "persona non grata", which are in fact the only people that the US declares as dangerous in the entire world.

Sali Berisha and his family are sanctioned for undermining democracy, blackmailing justice, and major corruption by taking advantage of power.

Now, before President Trump takes advice from Sali Berisha on who to declare a terrorist organization, he should lift the sanctions against him, because if he continues like this, the first terrorist organization to be declared could be his own party, which he considers raped.

But that's unlikely to happen either.

What drives Sali Berisha crazy are neither drug traffickers nor being "non grata", but the profound ignorance that Albanians showed him on May 11, throwing him out of politics like an old rag, and even more so, the indifference with which they listen to his daily rants about Albania.

All this has filled him with anger for the Albanians and you can understand this in the outbursts that his lackeys make against the people after May 11. This is a hatred that does not come out easily for him. When he thought he had a last chance to rise again after the national and international mudslide, when he thought that the millions of dollars earned from corruption would be laundered through brokers in the US and he would regain power, the Albanians ignored him and threw him away along with his money.

So he is now within his right to hate Albanians, to consider them terrorists, to consider them drug criminals or whatever. It is a sincere expression of his awareness that this was the last chance and after it, let it be a disaster.

It is a hatred that does not come easily to the Albanian people and Albania, which ignores him, considering him a crazy old man talking to himself in the streets. That is why you can hear even greater nonsense in the coming days. You can hear that Albania is the center of the mafia in the world, that this country should be isolated and sanctioned, that tourists should not set foot in this country because they will be killed, etc., like this.

Expect nothing else from a desperate man who understands that he no longer has any chance, not only to govern this country, but even to remove the stains of shame before death that this country has put on his back.

It is not easy to escape this life branded by your country and the largest countries in the West as a thief, a murderer of democracy, a murderer of justice, and a rapist of your citizens.

And even worse, it is not easy to think that after death these accusations will only increase. So don't be upset that he hates Albania. He was defeated by it and he always hates what he defeats.
