The path of history of a nation, a state, and a society can be either glorious, or shameful, or tragic.
Societies that have not been mindful of themselves have lost their national identity, that is, they have lost themselves.
Are we Albanians today asking for more than we should for ourselves, or are we not even asking for what is historically ours as Albanians for thousands of years?
I.
History has taught us that if you are asking for more than you should, you have not actually asked for anything. But if you are asking to take what others have taken from you, this is actually a patriotic story.
And a nation and a state must always know what it should ask for and receive from the history it is waiting to pass through.
Because the path of history of a nation, a state, and a society can be either glorious, or shameful, or tragic.
What about us Albanians, what are we asking of our history today?
In truth, we don't know what to ask of our history, which today is walking alongside us in two Albanian states.
And why is this happening to us?
The answer to this question is simple:
Because we do not know what our history really is today, and meanwhile we are not being guided by people who have created in their conscience a high opinion of the real structure of Albanian society, today, in the two countries where we live.
But in these historical moments, we must not forget that in the meantime, there are two Albanian states on the Illyrian Peninsula, Albania and Kosovo, but we still do not have a detailed program for the joint development of our two states.
This should not be thought of as a simple achievement, but we Albanians must necessarily achieve it.
And meanwhile...
It should be noted that the Kosovo government, currently led by Albin Kurti, is much more national than the Rama government in Tirana.
And this is happening because the socialists in Tirana are being directed outside the national spirit and it is being understood that the anti-national flow of the Socialist Party is within its own political nature, which it has towards France.
But it is also understood that even though he wants to, Edi Rama is unable to go towards Paris and Belgrade. And for this reason, it is also understood that Rama's fear is the strength that Washington has today in Tirana.
But we must emphasize in this analysis that, as a result of this grave national situation; we are still unable to see a general national opinion, according to the question:
Where are we and where do we Albanians want to go today with our two states: Albania and Kosovo?
II.
In view of this question, we must say that:
It is still not clear who is leading Albania today: the Albanians with their patriotic worldview, or the Slavs as the ancient conquerors of the vast Albanian territories?
But at the same time, we must emphasize that the entire new history of Albania began in 2008, when the Republic of Kosovo gained its independence.
In 2008, when Kosovo emerged into the historical spotlight of our time as a second Albanian state, the world was on the verge of a world war and history will write long about this historical fact.
Therefore, we must emphasize that 2008 was the year when we Albanians truly entered our true history, which had been violated since 1881.
But we must also understand that our history, from 1912 until 2008, has been a history of the loss of Albanian territories because 2008 finally turned the Albanians around to forcefully move towards Ethnic Albania.
III.
But we must also emphasize that, since 2008 when Kosovo gained its independence, 17 years have passed and our time has still remained hostage to our national division and hatred.
Therefore, precisely for this reason, we Albanians must remember at every moment that now it is we who must think about our history and development as a special people and no one else.
Therefore...
It is only Pristina and Tirana that need to think clearly about this issue and truly begin a co-national life between the two Albanian states that exist today, Albania and Kosovo.
But at the same time, we must be clear that Kosovo's independence has greatly damaged the Serbian occupier, and therefore he is leaving no stone unturned or place unturned to find anti-Albanian support in the world.
But it is in vain, because history has demanded the emergence of the Albanian world as a whole in Europe, therefore, in this matter, Albanianism will only continue to move forward.
And precisely for this reason, while adhering to the new history of ethnic Albania that has begun, the two Albanian states must be in a cooperative unification to create the new and real history of Albania and Kosovo within the national spirit of a united modern Albanianness that is being reborn.
But, within this historical issue, there are still two major obstacles to our national history:
Chameria and North Macedonia... which our national time is calling.
