Sali, GO!

Sali, GO!

Remaining stoic in politics means you have chosen the wrong path for your career.

The entire history of the Democratic Party is summarized in three words “Sali, Berisha, Sali”. Nothing is exalted in that party, except the name of the eternal leader. No one has anything to do with the DP, not even Edi Rama. This is because in politics, things are divided, someone loses and someone wins. But to seek immortality even when you have lost dozens of elections in front of your historical opponent, to immortalize your shadow and name in the party, even when you see how it is declining, to remain pedantic even when Albanians say bluntly with their votes, “Edi stay, Sali go”, this is alarming from a political perspective. Go and roll back to where you were.

He made a “poltora” and now he has started another “poltora”, even though about 150 people came out on the boulevard. Berisha called “poltora 1” as “the reunification of the Democrats after the split by Basha”, and now he has started “poltora 2”, declaring that “this is about victory”. Victory over whom, victory against whom? After all, on May 11, Saliu’s PD lost again, not the Democrats’ PD. Then we can say that this comes naturally as a result of mismanagement by that party’s leadership. Only a fool does not understand that everything has a limit, a beginning and an end. Only God is eternal. Not even Enver Hoxha became eternal.

To remain stoic in politics means that you have chosen the wrong path for your career. Albania is currently in a very intense development phase, both from an economic, political and integration point of view. It is foolish to deal with street politics, which offers you nothing, and to think that "the speeches of a losing party will bring development, integration, and well-being to Albanians". Whoever works makes mistakes, whoever makes mistakes is punished. The worst is when you make mistakes and protect the guilty. This happened once, when Berisha was in power first from 1992 to 1997, and second from 2005 to 2013. But today, this does not happen, and do you know why? Because Edi Rama came to power, with a different mind, and not to swamp the cities and villages. And this is real, proven, and there is no need for media propaganda at all.

It is enough to follow what those who come to Albania for the first time, or after 10-15 years, say to be convinced that Edi Rama was serious when he declared in 2013 that "only we socialists will make this country." It was the right moment for Edi Rama, as time did not wait. He took it in stride, and today he has turned it into an enviable place for every foreigner. Over 22 thousand Italians have chosen to live in Albania, over 12 thousand other pensioners, reside in Albania, obtaining passports in the main cities of the country.

This, of course, remains an indicator of well-being, development and European integration, and challenges the powerless propaganda of the DP. When they don't want you, Albanians vote you out, but when they want you to stay, they vote you back in.
