For now, it is worth commenting on SPAK's important files against politicians and high officials. The current file that will be discussed tomorrow opens the precedent of concealment of wealth, where as a direct consequence there is the seizure of wealth that, according to SPAK, was obtained illegally. And here, it seems we are at the very beginning. Time for more comment…
All that tension that developed today in the Parliament of Albania, was closed with a request from Taulant Balla, the meeting of the Council of Mandates, which decided the session for Arben Ahmetaj tomorrow.
The question is, would the situation be alleviated if the Council did not leave Monday as the day to approve SPAK's request, but, as happened today, leave it for tomorrow? More likely not, but the majority would have to have done everything in the beginning to get the consensus of the opposition for the session.
Anyway, the political debate on this issue, which is not actually being done simply on the issue, will continue tomorrow, perhaps with the same tensions and tempo of the political debate, perhaps even more.
However, what is important is the cold judgment of the situation or the basic issue that has brought conflict and tension, rather than the gossips that come and will come and spread day after day, for the needs of the politics of the day.
SPAK has brought to the Parliament of Albania, a request to obtain permission to arrest MP Arben Ahmetaj, also to check his apartments, since according to the Constitution, it cannot stop and check him without this permission.
SPAK's request does not constitute a flagrante delicto, nor a request for an injunction to prevent a destruction or concealment of evidence. The Special Prosecutor's Office has been investigating Arben Ahmetaj for almost a year, against whom there have been several denunciations made for a long time. As from the time when he was part of the government, as when Ahmetaj was no longer part of the government cabinet.
As it has been made public, SPAK has almost sewn up the file in an abundant way, and accuses Arben Ahmetaj of three criminal offenses, from concealing wealth, passive corruption and cleaning products.
This accusation is a serious criminal formulation, and precisely because SPAK has come to the conclusion that we are in the conditions of a criminal offense, which if combined has a double-digit penalty, then it has requested the measure of prison arrest.
Therefore, the arrest was not requested as a prevention, but as a result, as an illustration of the three serious crimes for which the Special Prosecutor's Office accuses MP Arben Ahmetaj.
Despite the gossip that comes out of a possible departure of the former deputy prime minister, the basic fact is that if he does not face the accusation, i.e. leaves even after the Parliament gives permission for the arrest, and the GJKKO confirms it, he aggravates his position, added a fourth charge against him, thus leading to a possibility of punishment that approaches those people who have committed a flagrant and serious crime such as murder. In other words, if until today, the criminal sentence against Ahmetaj according to the charge goes to 12 years, if he does not appear, he can go to 20.
And with these criminal forecasts, there is no possibility of either asylum or hiding, and he would become one of the most wanted persons by Interpol, placing himself at the top of the list, almost next to drug and arms traffickers, or serial killers.

Betino Craxi, ish-kryeministër i Italisë, me një njohje personale me shumë nga lider vendesh autoritare jo demokratike, arriti të marrë azil vetëm në Tunizi, liderin e të cilës, e kishte mik të ngushtë. Pikërisht mos paraqitja në gjyq e rëndoi edhe më shumë pozitën e tij gjyqësore, ku u dënua më shumë nga largimi, sesa nga bërthama e akuzës, e cila u çmontua nga ekipi i mbrojtjes. Sot, figura e Craxit është thuajse e reabilituar, e këtë reabilitim po e përfitojnë fëmijët e tij. Djali është deputet e politikan në partinë e Berlusconit prej vitesh, siç dhe e bija-senatore e njohur. E cila para pak kohësh ishte në Tiranë si kreu i delegacionit i Senatit të Italisë, ku ju bënë natyrisht nderimet më të larta.
Pra, përtej zhurmës, si nesër, si të hënën, Arben Ahmetaj por as mazhoranca nuk përfiton asgjë nga e shtuna dhe e djela. Vendimi do të merret sërish.
Po përse ndodhi kjo gugule që pamë? Zhurma u shkaktua kryesisht nga Gazmend Bardhi, Jorida Tabaku, Dashnor Sula, Saimir Korreshi e Dhurata Çupi. Deputetë të Partisë Demokratike, të cilët kanë bojkotuar dhe e kundërshtojnë procesin zgjedhor të kryetarit të PD-së më 29 korrik, e kështu ata po negocojnë me Lulzim Bashën në distancë për të mos i lënë jashtë PD-së që ai do të formësojë pas zgjedhjeve.
Ndërkaq, gjasat që proceset gjyqësore të prodhojnë procese politike përmbysëse, shkurt që kjo mazhorancë të bjerë, duke provokuar procese politike drejt zgjedhjeve të parakohshme, mund të shtohen madje shumë nëse opozita do të rindërtojë modelin, dhe lidershipin e saj. Pavarësisht zhurmës, aktualisht Shqipëria, nëpërmjet SPAK, po përjeton një proces që është ngritur e mbështetur, madje edhe mbrojtur fort nga Partia Socialiste. E cila është kumbara e Prokurorisë Speciale. Berisha, Meta, e mbështetësit e tyre, e quajnë SKAP dhe e konsiderojnë armik aq të ashpër sa Edi Rama.
A political team that is the anti-model of the majority not only with words, but also with real ideas and capacities can most likely produce a real political process even before 2025. But I don't even think about it, that every new political group will need some time to become known, and the other side to be unmasked more and more so that they go to the elections as favored. But all this is politics and will have to be analyzed in the future.
