Albania has entered a hot and dangerous phase regarding the economy. The devaluation of the Euro at a time when the European Central Bank is pursuing monetary policies to strengthen it is a sign that the strong lek comes as a result of the dirty money economy.
Dirty money cannot be the future of the economy!
The government claims that the problems encountered by export businesses that support over 100 thousand families with work and bread, are actually problems that originate from them. The government also justifies itself that these businesses have no reason to complain to the government about their inability to self-regulate in a market where the lek is strengthened not by the strong economy but by the dirty economy.
This alibi of the government would be credible if some events had not happened at the end of the parliamentary session. Events that show that in fact the government is clear about who is the culprit and that it is trying to avoid responsibility now that everyone is pointing at it, that is, the culprit.
In the last parliamentary session, one of the draft laws approved by the assembly was a proposal to change the way of paying taxes and duties by some exporting companies affected by the abnormal appreciation of the lek and the devaluation of the euro.
As it is understood, the proponent of the changes was the Albanian government, which in the relationship evidenced that the reason was to protect exporters from this strengthening of the lek. Strengthening, for all those who do not want to lie to themselves with lies, does not come from economic factors.
I brought this case to attention to let Albanians know that the government probably has a large arsenal of manipulations of facts and truth that it throws at people like candy. But we must always keep in mind that the government does not do what it says and almost always lies in what it does.
The government took a restrictive and facilitating measure for businesses because it understands that they are suffering and this endangers the work of over 100 thousand Albanian families and their incomes.
On the contrary, it is the case of a government that seeks to manipulate the market (as it has always done) to favor monopolies and economic oligarchy as well as the monopoly of dirty money or corruption.
