A 46-year-old man in Berat miraculously escaped an assassination attempt. It is learned that unidentified persons opened fire on the vehicle in which citizen A. H, with a previous criminal record, was traveling. The incident happened around 4:10 p.m., on the road to the village of Dushnik.
Fortunately, the 46-year-old was not injured. The police announced that they then found a burnt vehicle that is suspected to belong to the assassins.
" Immediately, the services of the Berat Police Station, the Operational Forces and the Eagles of the Berat DVP and the leaders of the Berat Local Police Directorate went immediately to the scene.
At the same time, an investigative team was set up under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, which is located at the scene. Also, groups of the National Security Force, Fier Unit, have been sent to help the Local Police. Police services have been in pursuit of the perpetrators and during the control of the area in the village of Kozare they have found a vehicle that was on fire, which is suspected to belong to the perpetrators , the police announced.
From the quick actions, it is suspected that the perpetrators are from the Fier district and for this reason they have engaged in the operational actions and services of the Fier Local Police Directorate and the Police Stations depending on it.
Investigative and operational actions continue under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office to make possible the clarification and complete legal documentation of this case.
