One of the most sensational files in the Saranda prosecutor's office, which talks about the murder and disappearance of Fatmir Sulovar and Leonidha Theodhori, is about to be transferred to the SPAK special prosecutor's office.
It is learned that the prosecutors of the file are in the final stage of the decision, for the declaration of incompetence, and it is expected that at the beginning of November 2023, all the investigative acts on this matter and the incident of the attack with a tritol on the house of the businessman Lefter Lefteri alias Afëz Kulla , they are transferred to SPAK prosecutors.
It will be the latter who will then carry out further and in-depth investigations for these events that took place in the coastal city.
But it seems that the criminal case of the seizure of 22 kg of dynamite and 3 canisters of gasoline, blocked in the month of August 2023 in the city of Fier, will also go to SPAK.
The explosive material is strongly suspected to have been prepared to be placed on an underworld figure in Fier.
The role for this work, the police believe, was taken by the same criminal group that carried out the kidnapping, murder and then disappeared the two young men in the village of Vrina in Saranda.
For the murder and disappearance of two friends Sulovari and Leonidha Theodhori, until this stage of the investigation, Albi Mecini, who is in prison, has been arrested.
Mecini was discovered by a biological trace fixed by the police of Vlora, in a water canister seized from the "Benz" type car, with which one of the missing persons was taken hostage.
Mecini is one of Admir Tafili's loyal friends, a convict with three life sentences. Mecini is the main character who participated in the sensational escape of Tafili from the high security prison in Drenova, Korça.
While under arrest for the disappearance of two Sarandë residents, a real estate sales manager in Sarandë, Sofokli Baxheri, was ordered by the court for a period of 4 months.
Baxheri was arrested on the charge of "Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth", as he was the man who had found the house for rent to the members of the criminal group, and did not show the actions he had performed that day, preventing the police from clarifying the incident.
Currently, Baxheri has been separated from this file and the case against him is forwarded to the court of Saranda for judicial review.
Meanwhile, the two friends of the arrested Albi Mecini, Sebastian Lataj and Arafat Manërkolli, who during the investigations were found to be involved in the kidnapping and disappearance of Fatmir Sulovari and Leonard Theodhori in the village of Vrinë in Saranda, continue to be wanted for this crime.
At the same time, Ervis Cukali from Tirana is also wanted, who is involved in the discovery of 22 kg of dynamite and 3 canisters of gasoline.
The abduction, murder and subsequent disappearance of the bodies of Sulovari and Theodhori took place in April 2023. There are suspicions and indications that the bodies of Fatmir Sulovari and Leonard Theodhori were killed and then buried in the village of Vrina in Saranda.
The conflict is related to the one-on-one clashes and the series of murders that started for the drug trade on the island of Corfu and some areas in Greece, leading to the murder of Aleksandër Sadikaj and Edmond Papa in Tirana./ Ora news
