Two people have fallen into handcuffs in Elbasan, after taking a 68-year-old hostage and threatening him to give them a sum of money.

"As a result of the immediate response of the services of the Elbasan Police Station, the coded police operation "Benefit" is finalized.
They took away a 68-year-old man's freedom and threatened him to take a sum of money, 2 citizens were caught and put in handcuffs.
The vehicle where the 68-year-old was kept and 3 mobile phones were seized.
Immediately after the report of a 68-year-old citizen, that for weak motives, 2 citizens had taken away his freedom, holding him for several minutes, against his will, in a vehicle, and that he had been threatened in order to give a sum of money , the services of the Elbasan Police Station organized the work to capture and prosecute the 2 perpetrators.
As a result, within the police operation coded "Benefit", the suspected perpetrators of this case, citizens RK, 57 years old, living in Peqin and SP, 47 years old, living in Belsh, were identified, caught and imprisoned.
Also, as material evidence, the vehicle where the 68-year-old man was kept and 3 mobile phones were seized.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty", carried out in cooperation and "Coercion by means of threats or violence to give property". .- the police announced.
