A serious accident occurred this evening in the city of Durrës, where a vehicle fatally hit a pedestrian.

At around 18:44, on the new port road, in the area called "Marfish", a Benz vehicle, driven by citizen LK, 28 years old, hit a pedestrian, citizen RM, 68 years old. As a result of the accident, the 68-year-old died.
The driver of the vehicle, citizen LK, has been taken to the police station for further procedural actions. The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
