A serious incident has occurred in Tirana, where a 46-year-old man has lost his life as a result of a road accident. Police report that a bus driver, identified as NH, 56 years old, hit a pedestrian, BLACK, near the area known as "Fisherman's Bridge".
According to official data, the accident was fatal for the pedestrian, who could not survive the injuries he sustained. The driver was immediately arrested by police forces, while the materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further investigations.
The incident brings to attention the negligence in road traffic and the lack of safety for pedestrians. Authorities have not yet provided details on whether it was a violation of traffic rules by the driver or a lack of signage in the area where the accident occurred.
