Accident in Saranda, 2 people are injured; one in serious condition

An accident occurred on Sunday evening, in which two people were injured.

The motorcycle with license plate AP538 driven by citizen Piro Miconi, 34 years old collided with a cow and then lost control.

Immediately after that, the engine was hit by a vehicle that was passing on the road axis, and as a result, the driver and the passenger, Kristi Leka, were injured.

The 34-year-old Miconi left this morning by helicopter to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana due to his serious condition, while Leka is out of danger in the Saranda Hospital. The police managed to identify and arrest the driver of the vehicle, citizen Mico Gerbura.
