An accident happened at noon today on the Peshkepi-Selenica road axis, where an elderly man was injured.
According to the police, the driver of the vehicle, a 46-year-old citizen with the initials AN, had an accident with the 83-year-old. It is learned that the elderly man was immediately sent to the trauma center, who suffered multiple injuries.
The investigative team is at the scene, while working to fully clarify the causes of the accident.
"Today, on the Peshkepi-Selenica road axis, near the village of Lubonjë, the citizen AN, 46 years old, driving a Toyota type vehicle, had an accident with the citizen I. Xh, 83 years old (pedestrian) who will be transported to the hospital Trauma, for specialized medical assistance.
The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action. The investigative team is at the scene and is carrying out further actions for the accident," the police announced.
