The Tirana police have arrested the driver of the vehicle that hit 2 girls on the sidewalk near the Prime Minister's Office.
21-year-old Jorgaq Thëngjilli was arrested for violating traffic rules. The young man, born in Greece and living in Tirana, is accused of violating traffic rules.
The 21-year-old was also tested for alcohol and narcotics, for which it was negative.
Jorgaq Thëngjilli was fined on July 23 for speeding in residential areas.

Today, the 21-year-old hit two pedestrians (DK and KD) with his car on the sidewalk near the Prime Minister's building. The latter were sent to the hospital, fortunately out of danger to life.
The young man, driving a Mercedes-Benz vehicle with license plate AA 528 PY, lost control of the vehicle, allegedly due to high speed, and ended up on the pavement.
The driver who crashed the two young women with his car this Sunday was moving from the Artistic High School in the direction of "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, through "Ismail Qemali" street.
