A serious accident occurred in Tezze sul Brenta, Italy, where a 38-year-old Albanian, Altin Lekaj, lost his life.
Foreign media report that the 38-year-old while riding a scooter collided with an oncoming car.
According to the Italian media, after the collision with the car that was in front of him, another vehicle hit him again, unable to avoid the 38-year-old.
He lived near the site of the accident with his wife, also born in Albania, and their three minor children, Italian media reports.
Emergency services arrived at the scene, but reported that the 38-year-old had died at the scene.
The mayor, Luigi Pellanda, also went to the scene, who expressed his condolences to the family of the Albanian.
"This is news that no one would ever want to receive. My condolences to the family of the victim, they are a well-known family. The police informed me as soon as the accident happened. I didn't know Altin Lekaj personally, but in the village I learned that he was very well-liked by those who knew him as a funny person," said the mayor of Tezze.
