Analyst Andi Tela stated that the civic protest, although with lower participation compared to the first days, continues to be active. According to him, the civic rally represents the accumulated dissatisfaction with the political class over the last 36 years.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Tela stated that the protest has not died down, but continues to gather citizens with different political beliefs and positions, united by disappointment with the way of governance.
"This protest is a reflection of a 36-year-old frustration. It had its peaks in the first weeks, but it continues today. The numbers are smaller for various reasons, however the protest has not died down and must continue ," he said.
According to Tela, both the majority and the opposition have different interests in relation to the protest, while the civic movement itself is critical of both sides.
"Rama and the majority are interested in the protest dying down, while the opposition seeks to use it according to its own interests. But this protest is against both sides, because citizens have been disappointed by everyone," said the analyst.
He stressed that the protest does not aim to create a new political entity, as it does not function as a party or union. According to Tela, its objective is to create conditions for a technical government, amend the Electoral Code and reform the Constitution, with the aim of guaranteeing equal representation and free and fair elections.
"Not being a political force, the protest's mission is to lead the country towards the resignation of the government, the amendment of the Electoral Code and the Constitution, so that there can be fair elections and equal representation ," the analyst declared.
